In the heart of Northenden The Watkin offers learners aged 11-16 (Key 

Stage 3 and 4) a smaller independent school environment with an

enviable reputation for enabling pupils who have struggled at previous

schools to succeed. Small class sizes, a skilled staff team and a broad,

engaging curriculum result in students learning in a calm and constructive

manner whilst building on learners vocational and social skills. With a

maximum of 36 students on roll the school it allows the school to know

the students well. Set over 3 floors offering 6 teaching classrooms,

catering teaching suite, nurture and intervention space, communal area

and student kitchen.
